Tej Pratap Warns ‘Traitors’ After Rohini Leaves Family

Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and leader of Janshakti Janta Dal (JJD), issued a stern warning to party ‘traitors’ after his sister Rohini Acharya cut ties with the family.

He said the people of Bihar will never forgive those who insult his sister and vowed that the culprits would face dire consequences.

Rohini Acharya left the family’s Patna residence on Saturday, claiming harassment, verbal abuse, and threats of assault with slippers.

She blamed outsiders in the party for the RJD’s poor performance in the recent Bihar Assembly elections. The incident has exposed a deep rift within the family and the party.

Tej Pratap, who remains estranged from the RJD following his sacking, took to social media to vent his anger.

He called the insult to his sister “intolerable and unbearable” and directly warned the so-called ‘Jaichands,’ a term he uses for party outsiders, against attacking his family.

He urged his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, to take action. “Just one gesture from you and the people of Bihar will bury these Jaichands themselves,” he said.

On his party’s Instagram handle, Tej Pratap wrote, “Yesterday’s incident has shaken me to the core. I tolerated what happened to me, but the insult inflicted on my sister is unbearable under any circumstances. Listen, if you attack the Jaichand family, the people of Bihar will never forgive you.”

Tej Pratap described the incident as deeply personal, saying, “Ever since I heard the news of my sister Rohini being attacked with slippers, the hurt in my heart has turned into fire. When public sentiments are hurt, the dust on the intellect is blown away. These few faces have clouded even Tejashwi’s intellect.”

He added, “The consequences of this injustice will be dire. The reckoning of time is very harsh.” He reiterated that the fight is not for any political party but for the honour of his family, the dignity of his sister, and the self-respect of Bihar.

Tej Pratap’s warning highlights growing tensions within the RJD after the party’s electoral defeat. It also exposes simmering family disputes spilling into the public domain.
