Adani Skills & Education (ASE), the Adani Group’s skilling initiative, on Friday unveiled Karma Shiksha, a work–study diploma programme approved by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
The initiative aims to support students who have completed Class 10, Class 12 (any stream), or ITI by providing them with an industry-linked education designed to prepare them for employment.
Education With Practical Skills, Not Just Degrees, Says Gautam Adani
Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, stated, “With Karma Shiksha, we are taking a transformative step to provide them not just with education, but with practical skills that open pathways to opportunity.”
“This initiative embodies our philosophy of Hum Karke Dikhate Hai — turning intent into action, vision into reality — and empowering a new generation to meaningfully contribute to the creation of a Viksit Bharat,” he further added.
The two-year diploma, offering specialisations in Ports Management and Logistics Management, combines classroom sessions with workplace learning across Adani Group businesses such as ports, power, solar manufacturing, green energy and logistics.
Admission will be based on a national-level merit process, ensuring participation from students across India.
Participants will also receive a stipend to support their education, along with options for higher studies through lateral entry into degree courses.
Following the earn-while-you-learn model, the programme provides students with both financial independence and industry exposure during the course of their studies.
The qualification is nationally recognised and creates direct pathways into employment or further education, strengthening career prospects for graduates.
Describing the broader vision, Robin Bhowmik, CEO of Adani Skills & Education, asserted, “Karma Shiksha is more than a diploma — it is a gateway to opportunity. With Skill2Employ as our guiding framework, we are ensuring that every skill leads to employment, and every learner becomes a contributor to India’s growth story. By integrating academics with workplace learning, we are creating a robust pipeline of industry-ready professionals for a future-ready India.”
The launch of ‘Karma Shiksha’ underscores ASE’s commitment to skill-building, employability and vocational excellence, while establishing a scalable model of education aligned with industry needs.
