Delhi CM Rekha Gupta inaugurated a new water pipeline in BC East, Shalimar Bagh, on Tuesday, aiming to enhance the water supply in the area.
This initiative is part of the Delhi government’s ongoing efforts to improve the infrastructure and living conditions in local neighborhoods.
Delhi CM Highlighted Improved Water Supply For Shalimar Bagh
Addressing local residents, CM Gupta highlighted the positive changes the new pipeline would bring.
“Starting today, the water supply from here will begin. You will receive water from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and in the evening for about half an hour. There was no evening supply earlier, but now you’ll get water twice a day,” she said.
The newly inaugurated pipeline is expected to significantly enhance the water supply in the region and provide residents with more consistent access to water throughout the day.
Road Repairs To Begin In Shalimar Bagh
In addition to the water supply project, CM Gupta also announced the commencement of road repairs in the Shalimar Bagh area.
“The authorities will begin repairing the broken roads today, and they will complete the work within one month. Today, we have brought material for repairing the central park here and making it better,” she added.
The Delhi government is undertaking road repairs as part of its wider infrastructure development program to improve the city’s urban environment and provide better amenities to residents.
The new initiatives highlight the Delhi government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and quality of life, with CM Gupta’s actions in Shalimar Bagh contributing to broader urban development efforts.
Delhi CM Gupta’s Commitment To Public Service
Earlier on Sunday, CM Gupta reaffirmed her government’s dedication to serving all sections of society. She spoke of the BJP’s guiding ideology of ‘nation first’ and vowed to work toward restoring the glory of the national capital.
“A BJP government in Delhi could be formed after 27 years because of the extra effort put in by our state team, respected president, MPs, and all members,” she stated.
At a Delhi BJP office event, CM Gupta pledged her commitment to public service. She also highlighted the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and BJP President JP Nadda.
She emphasized that the entire BJP would remain engaged in public service and work toward making India a ‘Vishwaguru’.
These initiatives reflect the Delhi government’s focus on urban renewal, infrastructure development, and its larger vision for the city’s growth.
