PM Modi in France

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in France on Monday, where he received a grand welcome.

A large number of Indian expatriates gathered at Paris’ Orly Airport to greet him. The crowd cheered with chants of ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ and waved the tricolor as they celebrated his arrival. Traditional drum beats added to the festive atmosphere, with people chanting ‘Modi Modi.’

PM Modi greeted everyone with folded hands and interacted with the people present.

One elderly Sikh man expressed his joy, saying, “We are delighted that you are celebrating the birth anniversaries of the Sikh Gurus and Sahibzadas. You are the only Prime Minister who cares for all religions.”

AI Summit And Historic Diplomacy

During his visit, PM Modi will co-chair the AI Action Summit with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The summit will bring together global leaders and technology executives to discuss advancements in AI for the public good.

The visit also marks a historic milestone as the two leaders will jointly inaugurate India’s first consulate in Marseille, strengthening diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Strengthening India-France Relations

The visit forms part of the broader effort to enhance the India-France strategic partnership, particularly with the ongoing review of the Horizon 2047 Roadmap-a long-term cooperation plan in key sectors.

Additionally, PM Modi and President Macron will visit the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project in Marseille, a significant global nuclear fusion research initiative.

Also during the visit, PM Modi will pay tribute to Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the World Wars by visiting the Mazargues War Cemetery.
