Prayagraj Gears Up For Mahakumbh 2025 With Accelerated Infrastructure Projects

The PDA expects to complete the Hanuman Temple Corridor, a major Mahakumbh attraction, by December 10. This project will improve crowd management and enhance the experience for visitors in the temple area

Under the Yogi government, the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) is rapidly preparing for Mahakumbh 2025. PDA aims to complete 50 key infrastructure projects, with a focus on widening and strengthening Prayagraj’s main roads. With 4 projects already done, PDA plans to finish 31 more by November 15. The remaining 15 projects, including drainage improvements, lighting, and roadwork, are set for completion by November 30.

High-Level Review of Preparations

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat recently reviewed Mahakumbh preparations. PDA Secretary Ajit Kumar Singh stated, “Crores of devotees are expected. PDA is working rapidly to ensure road widening, strengthening, and beautification are completed on time, making the experience memorable for all.”
