On 11 September, Allahabad HC Judges Ladies Club in collaboration with Forest and Horticulture department planted around 100 saplings in historical place of Chandrashekhar Azad Park in Prayagraj.

On 11 September, Allahabad HC Judges Ladies Club in collaboration with Forest and Horticulture department planted around 100 saplings in historical place of Chandrashekhar Azad Park in Prayagraj.

In the tree plantation held in Prayagraj, Wives of the Hon’ble Chief Justice and Judges of the Allahabad High Court, along with their families, planted Tabebia Rosea trees to advocate for environmental conservation. The initiative aimed to enhance green cover by planting 100 shady trees along the walking paths of Azad Park.

The event took place during the rainy season, a strategic time for planting, and focused on providing shade in vacant areas of the park. Over 50 women, including notable participants such as Mrs. Sheetal Bhansali, Mrs. Vandana Gupta, and Mrs. Nidhi Birla, joined the campaign. They emphasized that the newly planted trees would benefit future generations and committed to caring for and protecting them.

The program also saw the participation of several dignitaries and officials, including Divisional Director Mr. Arvind Kumar Yadav, Registrar Protocol Mr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava, Garden Superintendent Umesh Uttam, Regional Forest Officer Mr. Vibhuti Narayan, and DPO Esha Singh, among other staff members.

The tree plantation drive not only highlighted the importance of environmental protection but also demonstrated a collective effort towards improving green spaces in Prayagraj.
