Allahabad High Court Postpones Hearing On UPPCS J Main Exam Case

ALLAHABAD HIGH COURT

Prayagraj, Aug 28: The Allahabad High Court has postponed the hearing in the case concerning alleged irregularities in the UPPCS J Main Exam 2022. The court will now hear the case on September 4.

Petition and Commission’s Response

The petitioner, Shravan Pandey, has requested that his petition be converted into a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) and that a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry be conducted. The UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC) filed its reply to the amendment application on August 13. The reply addressed the petitioner’s requests and the alleged discrepancies in the exam results.

Revised Results and Ongoing Proceedings

In response to the allegations, the UPPSC released a revised result on August 17, declaring five candidates, including Shravan Pandey, as passed and selected for the interview stage. The double bench of Justice Saumitra Dayal Singh and Justice Donadi Ramesh is currently overseeing the case.
