Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given big relief to the farmers of flood-affected areas. For the first time, he has set a new record by providing assistance to farmers to remove the silt accumulated in the fields due to floods.
This is the first time in the history of Uttar Pradesh that a Chief Minister has given compensation to farmers for removing silt from the fields. Farmers expressed happiness while welcoming this initiative of CM Yogi. Compensation of more than Rs 32 lakh has been given to 311 farmers of flood-affected Lakhimpur Kheri for removing silt.
On this, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to CM Yogi and called him their messiah. At the same time, the flood-affected people of the state praised the relief work of the Yogi government. Relief Commissioner GS Naveen said that Uttar Pradesh is very sensitive from the disaster point of view.
