Free Health Check-Up Camp Organized For Journalists Promotes Wellbeing And Awareness

For the better health of our journalist brothers and sisters working in various media institutions, a free health check-up camp was organized on Sunday, 21st July 2024, at the Diagnostic and Dialysis Center of Seva Bharti located in Ashok Vihar. This initiative was undertaken under the aegis of Seva Bharti and the National Medical Organization (NMO). Both allopathic and homeopathic doctors were available for consultation.

Doctors from the National Medical Organization (NMO) provided consultations, and free check-ups were conducted at the Diagnostic Center of Seva Bharti. Refreshments were also arranged for the journalists who attended the health camp.

The Diagnostic and Dialysis Center of Seva Bharti, accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH), offers facilities such as ECG, X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and blood tests. More than 50 journalists from various media institutions benefited from these services free of cost.

On this occasion, Shri Narendra Thakur ji, All India Co-Promotion Chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, remarked that the volunteers of the Sangh are active in all areas of social life. He praised the health camp organized by Seva Bharti and NMO, with efforts from the Publicity Department of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, as a commendable initiative. He emphasized that a healthy body is essential for effective work and helping others. The objective of this health camp is to ensure participants remain healthy and aware of their health.

Seva Bharti Delhi’s Organization Minister, Sukhdev ji, provided information about the various service initiatives run by Seva Bharti in Delhi, including computer centers, sewing centers, fashion design centers, beauty parlors, education, health, skill development, and social work. He assured that no one is turned away from this diagnostic center; everyone is tested. Although there is a minimal charge for tests, if someone cannot afford it, they are tested for free. The center also offers dialysis services at a minimal charge.
