In an outbreak of West Nile fever in Isreal, 4 people lost their lives. Country’s Ministry of Health noted that with a new death on June 27 the toll has risen to four.
According to the reports from Xinhua news agency, The ministry said on Wednesday that it is currently investigating a suspected case where the virus may have caused another patient’s death.
The ministry reported six more cases of viral infection, increasing the total to 48 since the beginning of May. Thirty-six of these cases were hospitalized, with five of them on ventilators.

Mosquitoes carrying the virus were found at Ben Gurion International Airport, which is located outside of Tel Aviv, according to a Tuesday report from Israel’s ministries of health and environmental protection.
The Israel Airports Authority eradicated a lot of pests from the airport area when they were discovered.
Mosquito bites are the prime transmitter of the Virus. It entails flue like symptoms with headaches, fever, and muscle aches.
However, in about one in 150 cases, it can lead to severe central nervous system illnesses like encephalitis or meningitis, potentially causing paralysis, brain damage, or even death.
