On June 24, in celebration of the 62nd birthday of Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, the Adani Foundation organized a massive blood donation drive across India. The event spanned 152 cities in 21 states, marking an impressive milestone in the Foundation’s annual blood donation campaigns.
Unprecedented Response and Record-Breaking Collection
Under the guidance of the Adani Healthcare team, the drive saw an overwhelming response from employees, resulting in the collection of approximately 24,500 units of life-saving blood. This remarkable achievement surpasses the previous annual record of 20,621 units. The collected blood has the potential to assist more than 73,500 individuals in recovering from critical illnesses through various blood products such as PCV, platelet concentrate, plasma, FFP, cryoprecipitate, and albumin.

Dr. Preeti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, “I would like to thank each and every member of our Adani family for their contribution to this noble cause. Their dedication, year after year, not only reflects their love but also strengthens our collective commitment to serve those in need.”

Collaborative Efforts and Key Partnerships
The success of the campaign was bolstered by partnerships with the Red Cross Blood Bank and Government Hospital Blood Bank. A dedicated team comprising over 2,000 doctors, paramedics, data operators, and members of the management and administration departments played a crucial role in the smooth execution of the drive.

Since 2011, the Adani Foundation has been organizing annual blood donation campaigns to coincide with Gautam Adani’s birthday. These efforts reflect the Foundation’s commitment to addressing challenges and fostering sustainable and inclusive community development.
