Round Table Conference

On 8th May 2024, Rashtriya Suraksha Jagran Manch (RSJM) organised a 1- day round table conference at Hansraj College, University of Delhi on “National Security : Paradigms and Challenges – Vision @2047 for India”. During the discussion many experts and resource persons from various walks of like such as  former defence analyst, University’s professors, scholars etc. have participated during event. Among the key speakers

Major General Souresh Bhattacharya, distinguished career in the Indian Army for 37 years Presently serve as adviser – Defence & Corporate Affairs discussed  “The visionary call for a Viksit Bharat by 2047, highlighting the first-ever clear strategic direction set in 76 years. He stresses management awareness, public-private cooperation, and citizen innovation. Bhattacharya warns against neglecting national safety amidst global conflicts, particularly with China’s hegemonic moves. He emphasizes the multidimensional nature of protection and the challenges of balancing country wide interests amid geopolitical shifts.”

And Major General SVP Singh, former Additional Director General Artillery and a veteran of the 1971 Indo-Pak War also emphasise on “how integrating artificial intelligence (AI) in security measures  has become key aspect of modern security paradigm. Also talked on  importance of protecting personal and confidential data from country’s security point of view. Also he has point out about presence of idea of national security in Arthashastra ”. Also gave an example of successful strategic partnership in Indo-US, Indo-France and and Indo Japan . Including increasing defence export up to 31 times in 10 year

Sah-sangathan Mahamantri  Shri Vikkramaditya Singh also briefed about major agenda and purpose of creating RSJM. And briefed about its vision and purpose about national security

The purpose of this round table conference was to open up the floor for speakers and other attendees to motivate to discuss and bring out various dimension on various issues and challenges from  national security point of view. Particularly, keeping vision India @2047 agenda  in mind and through this objective  entire discussion took place.

And majorly since 10 years, after  the formation Rashtriya Suraksha Jagran Manch, it has been organising and conducting various seminars(National and Internationals) and abled to point out various fundamentals issues  concerning national security and also been highlighting those on various media  with the purpose to create awareness and provided a platform to discuss on various issues of national security.

Furthermore, RSJM has played an important role in channelling the findings of these discussions and encouraging the incubation of new ideas about national security. Through its coordinated efforts, RSJM has created a smooth channel for these insights to be transmitted to higher authorities, assuring proper assessment and action on critical issues.

The event witnessed the august presence of Prof. Rama, the esteemed principal of Hansraj College, who graced the occasion as the adhyakshata, lending further credence to the significance of the deliberations. This seminal gathering was a collaborative endeavour, with RSJM partnering with students from prominent colleges within the University of Delhi, including Hansraj College and Ramjas College, among others. From organisation (sanghatan), Sah-sangathan Mahamantri  Shri Vikkramaditya Singh was present as moderator, and Yuva Samiti members Dr. Vivek Singh , Shri Chatterjeet Singh, Dr. Inderpreet Kaur, Dr. Pawan, Hadungra Narzary and more were part of event.
