The Election Commission made new data on electoral bonds public on Sunday, after submitting it to the Supreme Court in sealed covers and being requested to make it public. This information is thought to refer to the period before April 12, 2019. The poll panel made details about electoral bonds after this date public last week.
According to the poll panel, political parties submitted data on Electoral Bonds in sealed cover as required by the Supreme Court’s interim ruling of April 12, 2019.

“The data obtained from political parties was deposited at the Supreme Court without the opening of sealed covers. By the Supreme Court’s ruling of March 15, 2024, the Registry of the Supreme Court has returned physical copies as well as a digitized record on a pen drive in a sealed cover. The Election Commission of India said today that it has published the data received in electronic form from the Supreme Court registry on electoral bonds to its website.
