As such Afghanistan is known as the mostre repressive state against women. In the same Taliban’s Afghanistan women folks have enjoyed the Day with broadcasting rare all-female panel on Women’s Day.
A survey has shown the realistic negative side of Afghanistan concerning the women last year. The survey showed that more than seventy fiver percent of female journalists have lost their jobs. This happened since the Taliban took over and American forces withdrew in August 2021.
Nevertheless, Afghan women have not lost hopes. The broadcasting platform Tolo News here on Wednesday aired an all female show marking international Women’s Day in Afghanistan. The Afghanistan Women’s Day show was consisted of an all-female panel in its studio which was supported by an audience of women across the country. Marking International Women’s Day, it was a rare broadcast since the Taliban took over. Many of the female journalists who have left the profession after Taliban regime have now started working off-air.
Though the women broadcasters tried to celebrate Women’s Day, still they were covering their faces with surgical masks. All the masked women includent the women belonging to the panel and also the one who acted as the female moderator discussed the topic on Wednesday evening. The topic was about the position of women in Islam.
A brave journalist said, “Women have rights from an Islamic point of view. They have their right to be able to work, and the right to be educated as well.” The name of the journalist is Asma Khogyani who belonged to the panel.

The Taliban government has restricted most of the girls from high school. They have also denied the right of eduction and the women from colleges and university had to stop their eduction. The female NGO workers have aslo been stopped from working.
