Ongoing Campaign Against Yemen’s Houthi Forces

The US Central Command confirmed on Friday via social media that military operations targeting Houthi positions are ongoing.

The US resumed airstrikes on Houthis on March 15 to deter attacks on US and Israeli ships in the Red Sea.

Houthi officials said they would stop maritime attacks if Israel ended its Gaza offensive and allowed full humanitarian aid.

Civilian Death Toll Rises In Hodeidah

Houthi-controlled health authorities reported on Thursday that US airstrikes killed 14 civilians and injured 15 others in Hodeidah, a strategic Red Sea port city.

According to health officials, the majority of those killed were women and children.

The death toll rose after several critically injured victims succumbed to their wounds in the hospital.

Local residents and officials stated that US warplanes struck homes in the Amin Muqbil residential neighborhood, causing widespread devastation.

Social media users shared disturbing video footage from the aftermath, which showed civilians carrying the injured away for treatment and damaged homes.
