
The US military launched 10 fresh airstrikes across northern Yemen late Saturday night, targeting several locations controlled by the Houthi group, according to Houthi-run al-Masirah TV, as reported by Xinhua News Agency.
Key Targets Across Yemen
The airstrikes reportedly hit Al-Salem in Saada, Al-Munira in Hodeidah, and a vocational institute in Al-Sawma’ah, Al-Bayda.
No casualties have been officially reported from Saturday night’s strikes.
Ongoing Campaign Against Yemen’s Houthi Forces
The US Central Command confirmed on Friday via social media that military operations targeting Houthi positions are ongoing.
The US resumed airstrikes on Houthis on March 15 to deter attacks on US and Israeli ships in the Red Sea.
Houthi officials said they would stop maritime attacks if Israel ended its Gaza offensive and allowed full humanitarian aid.
Civilian Death Toll Rises In Hodeidah
Houthi-controlled health authorities reported on Thursday that US airstrikes killed 14 civilians and injured 15 others in Hodeidah, a strategic Red Sea port city.
According to health officials, the majority of those killed were women and children.
The death toll rose after several critically injured victims succumbed to their wounds in the hospital.
Local residents and officials stated that US warplanes struck homes in the Amin Muqbil residential neighborhood, causing widespread devastation.
Social media users shared disturbing video footage from the aftermath, which showed civilians carrying the injured away for treatment and damaged homes.
