On Tuesday, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that more than 569 metric tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered so far across a temporary floating pier to Gaza, although not all of it has reached warehouses.

Aid began arriving at a US-built port on Friday as Israel faces rising international pressure to allow more supplies into the besieged coastal enclave.

According to the UN, 10 truckloads of food aid were delivered on Friday to a World Food Programme warehouse in Deir El Balah in Gaza by UN contractors from the pier site.

However, only five truckloads arrived in the warehouse on Saturday after 11 others were wiped out by Palestinians during the drive through an area that a U.N. official stated has been difficult to access with humanitarian aid.

The UN did not receive any assistance from the pier on Sunday or Monday.
