1. Summit Location and Context: The G7 Summit is being held at the luxurious Borgo Egnazia resort in Italy’s Apulia region. India has been invited as an Outreach country, marking PM Modi’s first overseas visit since his third consecutive term began.

2. Bilateral Meetings: Prime Minister Modi has held bilateral meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, French President Emmanuel Macron, and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. He has also met Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Pope Francis, with further talks planned.

3. Dialogue with Ukraine: After his meeting with President Zelensky, PM Modi described the discussion as productive, emphasizing India’s eagerness to strengthen bilateral relations with Ukraine.
