Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit as short yet ‘extraordinarily productive and moving’. He made the remarks during a joint press interaction in Jerusalem following delegation-level discussions.
Netanyahu praised the Indian leader’s address at the Knesset, stating that the speech resonated deeply across Israel. He said the address left a profound emotional impact and reflected the strength of bilateral ties.
PM Netanyahu added that both nations examined not only shared values but also their intellectual and technological capabilities.
The Israeli Prime Minister highlighted an innovation showcase visited during the trip. He said the exhibition demonstrated cutting-edge advancements that stretch the imagination.
Additionally, he emphasised cooperation between Indian and Israeli talent pools and confirmed that discussions have translated into concrete action plans.
Netanyahu announced that both governments have agreed to convene a government-to-government (G2G) meeting in India. He said the summit would amplify the benefits that the two nations can generate for each other and for the broader international community.
PM Netanyahu also commended the efficiency of the Indian administration, remarking on its capacity to deliver outcomes with streamlined leadership.
Referring to precision agriculture, Netanyahu drew parallels with precision education. He noted that technology and artificial intelligence now enable targeted learning tailored to individual students.
The Israeli Prime Minister asserted that previous constraints no longer limit nations willing to innovate. According to him, the future belongs to countries that invest in technological progress.
Additionally, he characterised India and Israel as proud ancient civilisations with modern ambitions.
PM Netanyahu said both countries respect their heritage yet remain determined to shape the future through innovation-led growth. He underlined that collaboration would enhance that trajectory.
PM Modi is on a two-day State Visit to Israel. He received a ceremonial welcome in Tel Aviv from Netanyahu and his wife, Sara Netanyahu. He later addressed a Special Plenary of the Knesset, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to do so.
