Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed over 15,000 Indian-Americans at an event in New York, stating that India seeks to contribute to global prosperity rather than dominate the world.
During his speech, Modi introduced the term ‘Pushp’ (flower) as a new framework for India’s development, detailing the achievements of his government. He expressed confidence that in his third term, the government would work with three times the speed and power to meet its goals. The acronym ‘Pushp’ stands for Progressive India, Unstoppable India, Spiritual India, Humanity-first India, and Prosperous India.
Modi also conveyed his gratitude for President Joe Biden’s warm welcome during a recent visit to his home in Delaware, highlighting that such respect reflects the admiration for the Indian people and the Indian-American community.

The Prime Minister reminisced about his visits to the U.S. prior to entering politics, noting he had toured 29 states during that time. He also addressed the topic of artificial intelligence, suggesting that it embodies not only technological advancement but also the spirit of collaboration between America and India.
The event, titled ‘Modi & US: Progress Together,’ took place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, located approximately 50 kilometers from Manhattan. Modi’s connection with the Indian diaspora has been evident throughout his significant visits to the U.S., including major events at Madison Square Garden in 2014, San Jose in 2015, and the “Howdy Modi” rally in Houston in 2019.
Organizers reported that 15,000 attendees traveled from across the country to participate, reflecting Modi’s enduring popularity among the Indian-American community.
