Pakistan Crisis: ‘Begging Is Shameful’, Says PM Shahbaz Sharif; Government To Adapt New Policies

Pakistan Crisis: India’s neighboring country Pakistan is currently going through an economic crisis. Burdened under the debt, there is a shortage of food items in Pakistan. The condition of inflation is at its peak,  flour is being sold at Rs. 150 per kg. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s PM Shahbaz Sharif has said that it is shameful for him to ask for more loans According to The Express Tribune, loans are not the solution to the economic challenges facing the country, because what is taken has to be returned.

The PM of Pakistan also thanked Saudi Arabia for the financial assistance. He said that during the last 75 years, various governments, whether led by political leaders or military dictators, could not solve the economic issues. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing the passing out ceremony of Probationary Officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), appealed to the civil servants to strengthen the country.

New Policies Of Pakistan

In the past, Pakistan has taken a strange solution to deal with the economic crisis. The Government of Pakistan has adopted a new policy to reduce energy consumption Pakistan has banned the production of fans and bulbs along with keeping marriage halls closed from 8.30 pm to 10 pm in the country.

At present, the price of wheat in Pak has reached Rs 5,000 per head. Talking about its retail price, flour is available at the rate of Rs 150 per kg in the Rawalpindi market. A 15 kg sack of wheat is being sold for Rs 2,250 in all the cities of Pakistan’s Punjab province.

Price Hike

To give relief from inflation in Pak, a subsidy is also being provided for flour, but its prices are far out of reach of the common people. Even after giving a subsidy, the price of a 25 kg flour packet is Rs 3100. At the same time, the wrong policies of the government are being held responsible for the increase in the prices of flour in Pak.
