Critics Choice Award: SS Rajamouli’s RRR has made India proud again! The extraordinary film continues to collect awards and the latest is at the Critics Choice Award 2023.
After winning the Golden Globes, Rajamouli’s magnum opus film RRR has won the Best Foreign Language Film at Critics Choice.

While receiving the award, Rajamouli thanks the “women of his life.”
Beginning with his mother, he said, “She thought school education was overrated and she encouraged me to read comics and storybooks, and she encouraged my creativity,” said Rajamouli, who also thanked his wife, costume designer Rama Rajamouli. “More than that, she’s the designer of my life.”
The master storyteller SS Rajamouli with his son SS Kartikeya received the award and thanked the CCA jury.
The official Twitter handle of the Critics Choice Awards has shared a video of the director SS Rajamouli celebrating the victory of the best international film.
“Cheers on a well deserved win @RRRMovie 🥂!” the caption read. In the video, the director was seen dressed in a brown kurta with beige colour pants with a red and grey muffler.
Numerous people have huge expectations for the film’s Oscar entry. The expectations are pretty high and many believe that the film will bag the Academy award.
Director Rajamouli’s cinematic marvel starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan also bagged the award for the best original song ‘Naatu Naatu,’ at the Golden Globes 2023.
Naatu Naatu’s Telugu version is composed by veteran music director MM Keeravani and written by Rahul Sipligunj and Kala Bhairava. Keeravani reached the stage to receive the Golden Globe Awards.
