Israeli Troops Raid West Bank, Killing 3 Palestinian

On Sunday, the Palestinian health ministry stated that Israeli troops fatally shot two Palestinian youths and a woman in separate instances in the occupied West Bank.

The army confirmed that it had neutralized three attackers.

The incident on Sunday, which followed many casualties during an Israeli troops raid further north in the Palestinian territory, added to a two-year increase of violence in the West Bank that has accelerated since the war in Gaza began on October 7.

The Palestinian health ministry in Ramallah stated that the deaths of the two Palestinian teens were caused by occupation (Israeli army) bullets.

Ministry named them as Muhammad Majid Musa Jabareen, 19, and Musa Mahmud Musa Jabareen, 18.

The incident took place at the entrance to Beit Einun hamlet, near Hebron.

The forces invaded and attacked many houses after the incident.

Israel’s military said two assailants attempted to knife and fire troops near the village.

In a statement, the military stated, “One of the terrorists attempted to stab IDF (Israeli army) soldiers that were in the area, who responded with live fire and neutralized him”.

The army went on to say, “At the same time, the other terrorist opened fire at the soldiers”, adding that he too was neutralized.

Israel has conducted near-daily operations in the West Bank in what it claims is an effort to combat terrorist groups.

According to the Palestinian health ministry, Israeli forces and settlers have killed at least 484 Palestinians in the territory since October 7.

As per the report, Palestinian attacks have killed at least 19 Israelis within the same period.

Israel has occupied the West Bank since 1967, and around 490,000 Israeli settlers live in enclaves that are deemed illegal under international law.
