Iran Threatens To Target Israel’s Secret Nuclear Sites If Attacked

Iran’s SNSC has issued a stern warning, stating that Iran will strike Israel’s nuclear facilities if it comes under military attack.

Iran To Target Israel's Secret Nuclear Sites

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) has issued a stern warning, stating that Iran will immediately strike Israel’s secret nuclear facilities if it comes under military attack.

The announcement follows recent claims that Iranian intelligence has acquired a large cache of sensitive Israeli documents.

Iran’s intelligence minister confirms access to Israeli files

Iran’s Intelligence Minister, Esmaeil Khatib, revealed that Tehran had obtained a ‘significant cache’ of Israeli intelligence through covert operations.

This disclosure came just days before the SNSC’s formal warning. Khatib emphasised the strategic value of these documents in enhancing Iran’s national security and military preparedness.

The SNSC confirmed that months of intelligence gathering have enabled Iranian forces to identify key Israeli targets, including concealed nuclear sites.

“Our armed forces are now prepared to carry out immediate and proportionate retaliation against any Israeli aggression,” the council stated.

Iran reinforces deterrence strategy

According to the SNSC, the threat forms part of a broader strategy aimed at deterring misinformation campaigns by hostile actors and enhancing Iran’s defence posture.

The council stressed that its new intelligence capabilities would enable swift and targeted responses to any attack on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure or its military and economic assets.

Israel maintains strategic ambiguity on nuclear capability

Although Israel has never officially confirmed possessing nuclear weapons, many believe it maintains such capabilities under a policy of strategic ambiguity.

Iran’s statement marks a sharp escalation in rhetoric amid heightened tensions in the region.

The situation remains volatile, as both nations continue to engage in covert operations and intelligence warfare, raising fears of potential military confrontation.
