Indian All-Party Delegation Arrives In South Korea To Reinforce Anti-Terror Stand

After concluding a successful diplomatic visit to Japan, an all-party Indian parliamentary delegation, led by Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, arrived in South Korea.

The visit is part of India’s global outreach to highlight its zero-tolerance policy on terrorism in the wake of the 22 April Pahalgam terror attack.

Operation Sindoor At The Core Of Outreach

This diplomatic mission is a key element of India’s ongoing campaign to draw international attention to Operation Sindoor and the country’s fight against cross-border terrorism, particularly that supported by Pakistan.

In a statement on Saturday, the Indian Embassy in South Korea said, “The All-Party Parliamentary Delegation, led by MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, arrived in Seoul as part of India’s diplomatic outreach on #OperationSindoor. India stands committed to fight terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.”

Cross-Party Representation

The delegation further features prominent figures from across India’s political spectrum. Alongside Sanjay Kumar Jha, the group includes BJP MPs Aparajita Sarangi, Brij Lal, and Pradan Baruah; Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee; CPI(M) Rajya Sabha MP John Brittas; senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid; and Ambassador Mohan Kumar.

Upon arrival in Seoul, MP Sanjay Kumar Jha reiterated India’s call for an unwavering global stance against terrorism.

In a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), he stated, “Arrived in Seoul with the all-party parliamentary delegation to carry forward India’s message of zero tolerance towards terrorism. The global consensus against terror must be firm and unwavering ~ and India remains committed to leading that resolve.”

Delegation To Engage For Three Days

BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi echoed this sentiment, noting the late-night arrival and confirming that the delegation would be working in South Korea over the next three days.

Similarly, BJP MP Pradan Baruah posted, “Arrived in Seoul as part of the All-Party Parliamentary Delegation, continuing India’s firm stand against terrorism. ”

In a follow-up message, he added, “It is imperative for the global community to adopt a resolute and unified approach—and India remains at the forefront of this collective fight against terror.”

Ambassador Mohan Kumar also reaffirmed the delegation’s purpose.

The visit further underscores India’s strategic approach in rallying international support against terrorism, while presenting a rare show of political unity across party lines.
