Gaza’s death toll exceeds 12000

The Hamas government in Gaza announced Saturday that the death toll from fighting between Israeli troops and Hamas in Palestinian territory has reached 12,300 since October 7.

According to the Hamas administration, nearly 5,000 children were killed, along with 3,300 women, and 30,000 more were injured. Its health ministry has previously stated that it cannot provide precise figures because severe fighting has prevented bodies from being collected.
