France is deeply concerned by Israel’s announcement on Tuesday that it will strengthen and prolong its offensive fighting against Palestinian Hamas militants in Gaza.
“France strongly reiterates its call for an immediate truce leading to a ceasefire”, the ministry stated. It also condemned systematic bombing that has again left many civilian victims in recent days.
