These two women used to work in Twitter and they have claimed that they have been deeply affected by the sudden mass layoffs. Women have alleged that women employees have been targeted in the retrenchment of thousands of employees. The women told the court that Twitter had employed more male employees before the layoffs and said that 57 percent of female employees were fired in the layoffs. This is much higher than the percentage of male employees fired.
According to the report of news agency AP, women have alleged that women have been hurt by the retrenchment. She also takes care of her family, but due to retrenchment, she is now facing difficulties. The names of these two women who sued Musk are Willow Wren Turkal and Carolina Bernal Strifling, they have also filed a case against Elon Musk on behalf of other women going through this problem.
