On Monday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar reviewed with his United Arab Emirates counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan the multi-faceted India-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership and discussed new areas with untapped potential to strengthen collaboration.

Jaishankar, who was in the UAE on Sunday, spoke with Al Nahyan about regional and global issues.
Today, in a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in New Delhi, stated, “The two foreign ministers reviewed the multi-faceted India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership”.
“They expressed happiness at the substantive progress in diverse areas of bilateral cooperation, including commercial and economic collaboration, fintech, education, culture, and people-to-people connect”, the statement reads.
The ministry went on to say the two ministers discussed new areas with untapped potential for further enhancing collaboration, while also exchanging views on regional and global issues.
The largest expatriate population in the UAE is the flourishing Indian community, which numbers over 3.5 million.
In February 2022, the countries linked a landmark comprehensive economic partnership agreement (CEPA) to boost economic cooperation.
