External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with his counterparts from France, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, and Romania to address a number of issues, including the Indo-Pacific and the Ukraine crisis.
Jaishankar is in Sweden for a three-day visit to attend the EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum (EIPMF). On Saturday he met with his counterparts on the sidelines of the EIPMF.

On July 14, Prime Minister Modi will be the honored guest at this year’s Bastille Day Parade. French President Emmanuel Macron invited PM Modi to attend the Parade in Paris.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, an Indian contingent will march alongside their French counterparts in the parade.
Mr. Jaishankar also met with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg and signed mobility and migration agreements.

Mr. Jaishankar committed to advancing bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation during his first meeting with Belgium’s Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib.
He discussed expanding bilateral and global ties with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov.
Mr. Jaishankar discussed mobility and tourism with his counterpart from Cyprus Constantinos Kombos.

Jaishankar met with Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics and discussed measures to boost bilateral ties in the midst of the Ukraine conflict.

After his meeting with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, he tweeted, “A good conversation on bilateral cooperation and Indo-Pacific with FM @GLandsbergis of Lithuania. Jaishankar thanked his Romanian counterpart Bogdan Aurescu for facilitating Operation Ganga, an evacuation mission to bring back all the Indian people who had become stuck in Ukraine.

Jaishankar arrived in Sweden on Friday after speaking at the 6th Indian Ocean Conference in Bangladesh.
