It goes without saying that Elon Musk’s makeover of the Twitter logo has been the topic of jokes and memes that have gone viral. The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is now using Twitter’s makeover to promote animal conservation.
A powerful message
A powerful visual depicting the evolution of the bluebird emblems over time was produced by the WWF’s German chapter. The article makes it clear that if we don’t take action to safeguard some animals, they will go extinct.

Notably, advertising firm McCann Germany created the design alongside WWF and shared it on LinkedIn. The graphic’s caption, when translated into English, reads: “The whole globe mourns the passing of the Twitter bird. Real animal species number about 1 million and are in danger of going extinct. Since the end of the dinosaur era, we are currently seeing the biggest extinction of species. One in eight bird species, more than 30% of shark and ray species, 40% of frog species, and 25% of mammal species are all under threat. Please aid in animal rescue. a project of WWF Germany and us!
