Everyone has built tall towers out of various toy blocks at some point. In June, a group under the direction of domino artist Benjamin Crouzier went a step farther and built the tallest tower ever made of wooden blocks.
Crouzier and 20 other individuals built a 27.46-foot tower out of KAPLA planks on Tuesday, earning the title of “tallest tower made out of wooden toy blocks” from Guinness World Records. The wood KAPLA planks are identical-sized building units. Without using glue or clips, you may put together a variety of shapes using these blocks.
Congratulations to Benjamin Crouzier and his team for making the tallest tower out of wooden toy blocks at 27.46 metres inside the Olympia London (UK) 🙌
The toppling of the tower is super satisfying 🤤@kapla pic.twitter.com/iHUPsC3IxL

At the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London, the builders and artists laboured for four days to construct the enormous tower using 100,000 KAPLA planks.
After the tower was built and its height was confirmed, the construction workers quickly brought it down by pushing the lowest plank. The domino effect caused the entire 27.46-foot structure to fall in a matter of seconds.
A behind-the-scenes video of this record attempt was published by well-known domino artist and YouTuber Lily Hevesh. Over nine lakh people have watched her video to date.

The creativity of how you guys set it up to take out a support, spiral around the tower, and finally cause a major collapse was incredible, a YouTube user said on the video. Congrats on a fantastic autumn and the world record!”
“THIS IS UNREAL I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!,” another person remarked. This is really insane! I can’t believe how quickly you guys accomplished what seemed impossible. This demonstrates that anything is truly achievable when working together towards a common objective. Keep up the good work, Lily:D. This video was fantastic.
