Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated across the country with great zeal and fervor to honor Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The 10-day holiday began on Tuesday across India, with images and videos showing Lord Ganesh idols being erected in houses and pandals. This year, one of the most popular subjects is Chandrayaan-3, India’s successful moon mission.
A customized pandal inspired by ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 Moon mission has been constructed at Chennai’s Kilkattalai, captivating space enthusiasts. A video that has gone viral on social media shows a model of a Chandrayaan-3 rocket next to a Lord Ganesha idol. The little replica even takes off, producing flames and smoke in the manner of a rocket launch.
A user on X posted the video with the remark, ”ISRO is yet to give a statement at this time.”
Internet fans praised the creator and the original idea. ”ISRO is taking space technology closure to all Indian houses,” one user said in response to the video. This is fantastic and will encourage many young minds. That’s encouraging because you never know when a modest suggestion can spark a big transformation. ”More power to the #ISRO.”
”ISRO is reaching new heights,” said another. “I knew there would be rockets this Ganesh Chaturthi, but I expected them to be simple imitations,” a third added. These are quite stunning.”
Not only Chennai, but cities across the country have incorporated the idea of space into their festivities, with pandals themed on India’s successful Moon mission.
