In the face of a difficult labor market, employers are adopting cutting-edge interview techniques, turning the application process into an unexpected adventure. However, the internet is amused by a company’s unusual question.
A screenshot of a job application that was initially posted by @beetagolsh was shared on Nugget’s Instagram account, and it quickly gained popularity. “What would you do with an elephant you can’t sell or give away?” was the question posed.
This now-viral interview question demonstrates the nontraditional strategy used by certain businesses.

Since it was published, the post has received almost 80,000 likes and a variety of amusing comments from online users.
One user commented, “Easy solution. Finding a circus that would train that elephant and pay me each time it was used is what I would do with it. In this manner, I can profit passively from the elephant I was given.”
“Open the fridge, put the elephant in, and close the fridge,” said a different user.
The third person laughed, “Keep it in my office so whenever we have a business meeting I can say ‘Are we going to address the elephant in the room?'”
The fourth person said, “Painting its toenails red and hiding it in a cherry tree.”. “I’d leave it in a room and never acknowledge it,” the fifth user wrote.
