Man Gets Pressure Cooker From Amazon 2 Years After Cancelling Order

In a curious twist of events, a recent post by an X user has left many puzzled and entertained. Jay, who ordered a pressure cooker from Amazon in 2022, had canceled the order shortly after and received a refund. However, much to his surprise, the cancelled order arrived at his doorstep nearly two years later, on August 28, 2024.

Jay shared his astonishment on social media, humorously commenting, “Thank you, Amazon, for delivering my order after 2 years. The cook is elated after the prolonged wait; it must be a very special pressure cooker!” His tweet quickly went viral, sparking a flurry of reactions from other users.

Many took the opportunity to joke about the situation. One user mused, “Must be handcrafted by very skilled craftsmen.” Another quipped, “You should be happy it was custom-made, with the smallest details considered, like mining the aluminum especially for your order.”

A third user speculated, “I think your order is coming from a parallel universe, so it took 2 years to reach you.” Another shared a similar experience, saying, “Wasn’t your order marked as canceled? They did something similar to me in the past, where a lost TV was eventually delivered after providing a replacement.”

In response to the viral post, Amazon commented, “Hi there, we’re sorry to hear this. Kindly report this to our support team.” Jay replied, “Report what? The order was canceled and refunded back in 2022. How do I pay for it now?”
