Delhi becomes difficult to breathe
The national capital’s air quality has deteriorated to the “severe plus” category for the first time this season, with the AQI reaching 471. The situation in Delhi is horrifying. Experts claim that the amount of pollution in Delhi NCR is equivalent to smoking more than 31 cigarettes in a single day.
Non-essential building operations as well as BS-3 gasoline and BS-4 diesel vehicles are prohibited in the following cities: Delhi, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram, Gautam Buddha Nagar.
In such a situation, it’s crucial to take particular precautions to protect oneself from pollution when you walk outside.

NO WALKS IN THE MORNING
Right now, taking early walks is not at all safe. Walking is a good kind of exercise, but taking in the noxious outdoor air will counteract all of those health benefits and harm your body and mind instead.
CHECK FORECASTS
Every day, check Delhi’s air pollution forecast. You can find out when the air quality in your neighborhood is unhealthy by using the color-coded forecasts.
SHUT THE DOORS
Make sure your home is sealed off in the event of severe air pollution. There isn’t any fresh air, so turn on fans or an air conditioner to stay cool instead of breathing it.
PUT ON A MASK
This is really significant. When you leave your house, always wear a mask with a N95 or FFP3 grade to protect your lungs from breathing in air pollution.
WHOLESOME EATING
Consume food high in omega fatty acids and fruits, which are high in magnesium and Vitamin C. Drink tulsi and ginger tea to strengthen your immunity as well.
