Sharvari Wagh on working with Alia Bhatt in Yash Raj Films'
Actress Sharvari Wagh, who was seen in the film ‘Munjya’, is now very happy to work with Alia Bhatt in Yash Raj Films’ female spy universe film. She said that sharing the screen with Alia is a big deal and a big responsibility. In March this year, YRF CEO Akshay Vidhani officially announced his first spy film with a female lead. The Yash Raj Films Spy Universe started in 2012 with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. This was followed by blockbuster films like ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, ‘Pathan’, ‘Tiger 3’ and ‘Fighter’.
Sharvari to play a super-agent
Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh will be seen playing the role of super-agents in the YRF Spy Universe. The shooting of the film will start this year. The title of the film is not yet decided. Sharvari Wagh, who sees Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Bhatt as female action stars, believes that now the time has come for women to play lead roles in action films and set an example for the next generation.
Celebrating the success of ‘Munjya’
Sharvari Wagh is celebrating the success of her film ‘Munjya’. The film has earned Rs 40.25 crore at the box office. People have mixed opinions about this film released on June 7. Wagh said that the commercial success of ‘Munjya’ encourages new artists like her. Apart from Sharvari, the film also stars Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Satyaraj and Suhas Joshi. The movie ‘Munjya’ is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
