Delhi Weather Today: Cloudy Skies And Light Rain Likely, No IMD Warning Issued

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle in Delhi on Tuesday.

The capital will likely see partly cloudy conditions on September 9 and 10, followed by another spell of light rain from September 11.

Humidity will likely remain high, with levels potentially reaching 90 per cent.

The IMD has, however, issued no weather warning for Delhi.

Noida will likely remain partly cloudy from September 8 to 13. Maximum temperatures may stay between 34 and 35 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures are expected to remain around 26 degrees Celsius.

Gurugram will likely see partly cloudy skies until September 12. Temperatures may range between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius during this period.

The city could receive one or two spells of rain or thundershowers on September 13. Humidity may rise to around 90 per cent.

The southwest monsoon remains active across several parts of the country.

The IMD has forecast heavy rain, thunderstorms and lightning in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and several other regions.

The weather department has predicted heavy rainfall and thunderstorms across Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat.

Some areas could experience strong winds reaching 65–70 kmph.

Heavy rainfall is likely across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh until September 13.

Uttar Pradesh will likely receive rain from September 9 to 13, while Rajasthan could see showers on September 12 and 13.

Uttarakhand will likely remain under monsoon influence during this period. Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are expected to receive rain between September 8 and 13.
