Samsung Electronics announced on Tuesday that it will host its next Galaxy Unpacked event in New York next month, where it will unveil the latest Galaxy Z series smartphones, featuring Galaxy AI and an ultra-slim foldable design.
In its official statement, Samsung said the new Galaxy devices are reimagined with a focus on an AI-driven interface. This interface is supported by advanced hardware that unlocks new possibilities in performance and user experience.
“The best of Galaxy AI and Samsung craftsmanship is about to be unveiled,” the company said.
The statement further added that smartphones are now evolving beyond apps and tools into intelligent companions that understand user intent in real time.
Samsung will likely introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the event. These next-generation foldables will feature larger screens, improved cameras, and upgraded AI capabilities.
The company’s teaser earlier this year had hinted at these enhancements, reflecting Samsung’s ongoing focus on innovation in display and imaging technologies.
Samsung typically holds Unpacked events twice a year. The last event took place in San Jose this January, where the flagship Galaxy S25 series was introduced.
Samsung said Galaxy AI, however, marks a shift from mere smartphone functionality to intelligent interaction. It described this transition as moving from ‘reaction to anticipation’, where user intent drives real-time response.
With Galaxy AI as the new interface, Samsung aims to redefine the way users connect with their devices.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to creating technology that adapts to people’s real needs, including better performance, sharper imaging, and smarter connectivity.
