CMF has steadily built a strong product range with Nothing-branded devices, many of which debuted in 2025.
After covering the CMF Phone 2 Pro, attention now turns to the latest iteration of its wireless earbuds—the CMF Buds 2 Plus.
Designed for budget-conscious users who still want a robust set of features, the CMF Buds 2 Plus is priced at Rs 3,299.
It adds a splash of colour to the lineup, offering eye-catching options such as blue and light grey.
The earbuds aim to provide a compact, wireless audio solution for those who prefer staying connected without cables.
Compact And Practical Design
The Buds 2 Plus come with a compact case that fits comfortably in a pocket and weighs just around 51 grams.
The case sports visible CMF branding and a matte grey finish, though it tends to attract dust quite easily.
Unlike earlier models, the dial attached to the case is purely decorative and no longer supports any functional controls.

The USB-C charging port sits on the right side of the case, accompanied by a small LED indicator to display battery status.
The earbuds themselves feature a glossy finish, which can make them a little slippery.
Their stem design remains conventional, aligning with current trends in the true wireless stereo (TWS) market without any experimentation.
Features That Matter
While CMF has removed the dial control from this model, the Buds 2 Plus still include active noise cancellation (ANC) and several listening modes adjustable via the feature-rich Nothing X app.
The earbuds support the LDAC codec, offering high-resolution audio streaming, and include in-ear detection—a feature often missing in this price segment.
Tap controls are customisable through the app; by default, a long press toggles ANC, a double tap skips forward, and a triple tap rewinds tracks.
These specifications confirm CMF’s commitment to delivering value without cutting corners.
Impressive Sound Quality
Most importantly, the CMF Buds 2 Plus delivers solid audio performance. The sound profile is well-balanced, and users can enhance bass manually through the app’s equaliser settings.
Clear, crisp notes reveal a wide soundstage, beneficial for different music genres and listening preferences.
The ANC effectively reduces ambient noise during playback, although some background sounds remain audible when music is paused.
The ambient and transparency modes are modest in this price range, with many users preferring to remove the earbuds rather than rely on these features.
However, spatial audio support was an unexpected bonus, providing an immersive surround sound experience.
Battery Life And Usability
CMF claims a total battery life of up to 30 hours with the charging case. Our testing matched these claims, as the earbuds alone lasted around four hours with ANC enabled before needing a recharge.
This endurance makes the Buds 2 Plus suitable for long listening sessions, even in noisy environments.
Overall, the CMF Buds 2 Plus stands out as a compact, feature-packed, and well-performing TWS option under Rs 3,500.
Its strong battery life, ANC capabilities, and comfortable fit ensure it meets the needs of everyday users seeking quality wireless audio on a budget.
