Amazon has introduced its new Alexa-powered Echo Show 11 and fourth-generation Echo Show 8 smart displays in India.
The Echo Show 11 features an 11-inch display, while the Echo Show 8 comes with an 8.7-inch edge-to-edge HD glass display with touch controls. Both devices are compatible with Alexa+, whenever it becomes available in India.
The new Echo Shows run on the AZ3 Pro processor and incorporate Omnisense, a custom ambient AI sensor.
This system uses multiple inputs, including a 13 MP camera with auto-framing and noise reduction, audio sensors, ultrasound, Wi-Fi radar, accelerometer, and Wi-Fi CSI.
The sensor helps adjust compatible smart lights and devices via the Alexa app.
Both devices include front-firing stereo speakers with custom woofers and full-range drivers designed to deliver spatial audio.
Users can monitor their homes, check on family or pets using the ‘Drop In’ feature, and view up to four live feeds from compatible security cameras or video doorbells.
The Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 offer microphone on/off buttons, in-app and on-device camera controls, and the ability to view and delete voice recordings within the Alexa app.
Customers can buy the Echo Show 11 in Graphite and Glacier White for ₹26,999, and the Echo Show 8 in the same colours for ₹23,999. They can purchase both devices through Amazon, Flipkart, and offline stores such as Reliance Digital and Croma.
