Designed With Gen Z, Not Just For Them: Realme P4 Power Redefines Smartphone Identity

Gen Z is reshaping the meaning of smartphones, viewing them not merely as gadgets but as extensions of identity, creativity, and everyday expression.

Acknowledging this shift, realme has consistently evolved its design language to align with young users’ expectations across its product range.

Within this landscape, the realme P Series has earned recognition for its youthful yet practical design, crafted especially for Indian consumers.

Building on this legacy, the upcoming realme P4 Power takes a decisive step forward with a design philosophy centred squarely on Gen Z sensibilities.

At the heart of the realme P4 Power is the TransView Design, which draws inspiration from the internal architecture of smartphones.

Rather than concealing technical elements, the design celebrates them through circuit-inspired patterns, visible screws, and fine detailing on the upper crystal-style panel.

This transparent, technology-forward approach resonates with Gen Z’s preference for honesty and openness in design.

A lower matte panel in bold, fashion-forward colours balances the design, offering comfort and a secure grip while allowing users to express their individuality in everyday use.

Together, the contrasting panels reflect realme’s ‘Power of Paradox’ philosophy, where strength meets comfort and performance aligns with personality.

realme further reinforced its youth-first approach through a collaborative workshop with Pearl Academy, where design students worked closely with the brand’s teams, contributing ideas from initial sketches to refined concepts.

Notably, realme shortlisted and integrated a concept by student Sankalp Panchal into the final design, marking a rare instance of student creativity shaping a mass-market smartphone.

With the realme P4 Power, realme reaffirms its commitment to creating devices genuinely shaped by Gen Z—designed not just for young users, but with them.
