Apple Inc has reported a remarkable 36% surge in its operating revenue in India for the fiscal year 2023-24 (FY24), crossing Rs 66,700 crore.

Apple has set a new milestone, with iPhone exports from India reaching nearly Rs 60,000 crore in the first seven months of FY25.

"We are thrilled with the enthusiasm in India, where we hit an all-time revenue record," said Cook. He highlighted strong growth in both developed and emerging markets, with double-digit gains in Mexico, Brazil, the Middle East, India, and South Asia.

Apple has named Indian-origin Kevan Parekh as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Parekh will also join the tech giant’s executive team. Current CFO Luca Maestri will transition out of his role on January 1, 2025, according to Apple’s statement.

Apple has achieved new revenue milestone in India for the April-June period, robust local manufacturing and a significant increase in exports.

Originating from Chennai, Pichai continued a tradition inspired by Apple CEO Tim Cook, who annually shares Diwali photos taken on iPhones by Indian users.
