Third-Largest Economy

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya visited Prayagraj on Monday to assess the flood situation and inspect relief camps.

Morgan Stanley projects that India will become the third-largest economy in the world by 2028. It expects the Indian economy to more than double in size to $10.6 trillion by 2035.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that India is the fastest-growing major economy and is poised to rank third globally.

Dr. Gita Gopinath, Deputy Managing Director of the IMF has projected that India will become the third-largest global economy by 2027.
