Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya visited Prayagraj on Monday to assess the flood situation and inspect relief camps.
Before leaving for Kaushambi on Tuesday after a night’s rest, he met party workers at the Chandra Shekhar Azad Circuit House and urged them to serve the flood-affected with dedication.
Keshav Prasad Maurya asked the workers to ensure proper arrangements for food, clean drinking water, and other essential needs.
He added that officials have received strict instructions to make all necessary arrangements swiftly. Keshav Prasad Maurya also advised workers to stay prepared for the 2027 elections.
Maurya said India has set its sights on becoming the world’s third-largest economy and achieving developed nation status by 2047 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
He criticised opposition leaders who, according to him, have become agents of foreign forces due to their frustration over losing power.
“India neither fears anyone nor scares anyone,” he asserted.
Additionally, Maurya warned that anyone who obstructs this national goal will be politically erased.
He reminded workers of the repeal of Article 370 and Section 35A by the central government on 5 August 2019. He congratulated citizens on the sixth anniversary of this ‘historic, far-sighted and nation-welfare’ move.
Present on the occasion were Kashi Province Vice President Awadhesh Chandra Gupta, Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta, MLA Guru Prasad Maurya, Vinod Prajapati, Manoj Kushwaha, Anuj Kushwaha, Sujit Kushwaha, Rohit Pandey, Arajesh Gond, Angad Patel, Gopal Srivastava, spokesperson Pawan Srivastava, Co-Media Incharge Vivek Mishra, Vijay Patel, and Harish Mishra.
