YSRCP MP Y. V. Subba Reddy, who was chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) during the YSRCP's tenure, dismissed the allegations as "malicious."

Reddy also announced that the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections might take place in March next year and the party manifesto will be released in February.

Heavy hitters in the Telegu Desam Party, such former education minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and party president Atchen Naidu of the Andhra unit, have been tarred and feathered by the case.
