The Delhi High Court has declined an early hearing request by Abdul Rashid Sheikh (Rashid Engineer) in the J&K terror funding case.

Rashid Engineer, the Member of Parliament (MP) from Baramulla, has suffered a setback as the Patiala House Court.

The Delhi High Court is set to hear the petition of Baramulla MP Rashid Engineer, who faces charges in a terror funding case related to Jammu and Kashmir.

The Delhi High Court will hear Rashid Engineer's petition challenging the denial of interim bail for Parliament sessions.

Rashid argued that, as an elected representative, he must fulfill his responsibility by attending the session from March 10 to April 4. Earlier, the Delhi High Court granted him two days of custody parole.

Patiala House Court has reserved its decision on MP Rashid Engineer’s interim bail plea. He is an accused in a terror funding case. Additional Sessions Judge Chander Jeet Singh will announce the verdict on March 7.
