Nikita Singhania

Supreme Court has directed the Haryana government to file an affidavit in response to a habeas corpus petition filed by the mother of Atul Subhash.

Karnataka High Court rejected the plea to quash the FIR against Nikita Singhania in connection with the alleged suicide of Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash.

Subhash’s father, Pavan Kumar Modi, expressed fears for his grandson’s safety. He accused Nikita of using the child to extort money and said she could harm the boy.

Akash Jindal, the family’s lawyer, argued that Nikita should not use the child to secure bail. He stated that the family had filed a habeas corpus petition with the Supreme Court to find the child and seek custody.

Atul Subhas claimed they demanded Rs 3 crore for a divorce settlement. He ended his life in his apartment, leaving behind chilling details and final wishes.
