Mahua Moitra

The Constitution's Article 105, which addresses the authority, privileges, and other matters of the Houses of Parliament, as well as their members and committees, was mentioned.

The Delhi High Court rejected Trinamool Congress (TMC) Member of Parliament Mahua Moitra’s plea on Monday.

The CBI is also investigating Moitra; it is carrying out an initial probe into the accusations made against her in cash for query case.

In her tweet, Moitra remarked on the BJP's recent actions, particularly its tendency to embrace politicians whom they had previously denounced as corrupt.

TMC leader's allotment was canceled earlier, and she was asked to leave the house by January 7.

The Trinamool Congress leader has been directed to immediately vacate her bungalow, which was given to her as an MP, they added.

"A show cause notice has been issued to Mahua Moitra, seeking her reply within three days as to why she has still not vacated her government accommodation," the source said.

Chief Minister Banerjee claimed that Ms. Moitra was not given the chance to refute the accusations by the ruling party.

Dubey demanded in a letter that an inquiry committee be formed to ascertain whether the accusations made against her were real.

Moitra can only be expelled if the House votes in favor of the committee's report, which labeled her actions as "highly objectionable, unethical, heinous, and criminal."
