Supreme Court has deemed the Madras High Court's order for police in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore to investigate the Isha Foundation as "unnecessary."

A retired professor filed a petition in Madras High Court. Professor, in plea alleged that Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has brainwashed his well educated daughters to permanently live at Isha yoga center at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. 

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court overturned a Madras High Court order granting bail to 8 individuals purportedly associated with the banned organization Popular Front of India (PFI).

Earlier, on April 1, the Supreme Court had sought a response from the ED regarding Balaji's bail plea, issuing a notice to ED.

Madras High Court dismissed the proceedings against a 28-year-old man who was accused of downloading child porn content on his mobile phone.
