Earlier today, the Congress leadership unveiled its candidates for two significant seats - Amethi and Raebareli. Clarifying speculation about Rahul Gandhi's candidacy in Amethi.

More than 10 days after Phase 1 and four days after Phase 2 of polling for the ongoing general elections, the Election Commission of India (EC) released the final voter turnout figures for the two rounds on April 30.

After reviewing Niranjan's complaint and Rao's response, along with other relevant records, the Commission concluded that Rao's statements at the Sircilla press meet breached MCC provisions and the Commission's directives.
